"Sea La Vie Destin"- Fab Destin Home, Private Pool, Golf Cart, Crystal Beach

It was a beautiful home and pool. There was a major safety concern that there were no chime sounds for the doors or pool alarm. This should be mandatory for any home with a pool. The doors had something on the top that looked like a chime of some kind, but they did not work.

There was a broken tile that led to a filter access at the pool. The entire piece was cracked, making all the pieces move if it was stepped on, leaving it possible for a child to step through it.

The front door does not have a lock on the inside to secure from being opened by a child (from the inside). Any child can open the door because there isn’t a deadbolt or chain lock at the top of the door. Again, extremely dangerous for any family with small children and then no way to hear if the door was opened.

Additionally, we had 4 different companies come to the house unannounced and unexpected. A landscape guy looking at the all trees, mowing crew, palm tree crew, and a pool cleaning guy. This should be communicated to anyone who pays the price we paid for the home. They didn’t knock or ask to come in. They just walked in and started working. Some sort of notification would’ve been nice so that we could have been out of their way.

Two of the three beds used had sheets that were pilling very badly, they need to be replaced. It was very uncomfortable and scratchy sleeping at night.

Lastly, there was construction at the home next door from 7am to 7pm every day we were there. So not only did we have to listen to their extremely loud music we also had them watching us the entire time because they were working on the guest house deck which was higher than our fence so they saw us in the pool the entire week. We did ask them to turn the music down one day because it was so loud.

Overall, the home was beautiful and clean. I would only recommend this to those with no children or older children.

We loved the pool area. The grandchildren loved the pool and were glad there was beach and pool toys available on site. Wonderful house and kitchen. Enjoyed grilling quite a few nites. Awesome!

Our stay at the beautiful Sea La Vie Destin was absolutely a wonderful trip!! The house was spacious for our whole family! We were within a short walk to the beach and the many area attractions. We made lasting memories cooking on the grill and enjoying the swimming pool and sun!!! We will definitely be back!!!

We loved Sea la Vie. It is a beautiful place to stay. It is very clean and has everything you need. It’s a walk or golf cart ride to the beach . We loved hanging out at the beautiful pool. Our grand daughters loved the bunk room. It so close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We can’t wait to go back.

This home was so cozy and met all of our requirements and more! The pool is beautiful! We will definitely be renting this place again! I wish we owned it! If I could add more stars to this rental I would. The owners are so friendly and accommodating! Definitely recommend this vacation house!

A wonderful place to stay in a great part of Destin. We had a great time hanging out by the pool and it’s a very short ride to the beach on the golf cart. The property managers were very quick to respond to any questions or concerns that came up.
