Cruise miles of beach, restaurants, shopping, galleries and an abundance of nature all along 30A.

From sunrise coffee on the Captain’s Perch to sunset swims in your private pool, Captain's Tower is more than just a vacation rental—it’s an unforgettable experience waiting to be yours. Just a few minutes from Watersound West's Private Beach and Huge Community Pool.
Watersound West is ideally located in the heart of 30A. Our house is 0.7 miles from the Old Florida Fish House and Buddy’s Seafood Market, 1.7 miles from The Big Chill, 5 miles from Rosemary Beach, and 4 miles from Seaside, and close to Deer Lake State Park beach access.
Starter Pack: We provide our guests with Gilchrist & Soames hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponge, coffee packs and laundry detergent pods. Guests are responsible for supplying their own amenities once our initial pack is depleted.
Golf Cart Policy: Please note that a $500 refundable security deposit, copy of drivers licenses, and proof of insurance must be received per cart prior to your arrival. This neighborhood does not allow renting of outside golf carts. The cart must already be registered to this neighborhood.
Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of stay will receive 100% refund. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% a refund. For your protection, we encourage you to procure Traveler’s Insurance. Guests are required to electronically sign the rental agreement within TWO days of booking, otherwise the reservation is subject to cancellation.

Beautiful home in a lovely quiet neighborhood! Well appointed with all necessities. The host went above and beyond no detail left out. Perfect for our family vacation with our adult children. .We loved walking down to the beach with a glass of wine for golden hour sunset each day and a perfect time for family photos! Great location…close to several foodie restaurants.

The floor plan, the kitchen, the decor, the location… everything was amazing. The pool was fantastic, the beach is essentially private and the neighborhood couldn’t be more charming. It’s beautifully decorated- everything about it was warm, comfortable and welcoming. It was the perfect backdrop for our beach vacation. We’ll definitely be back.

This home is impeccable. It is beyond beautiful . The accommodations are furnished in a manner that is both luxurious as well as soothing. I cannot think of one item that one could want that is not provided for in the home, from kitchen utensils, dishes, glasses, cookware; to the luxurious bedding and furnishings within.The atmosphere lends itself to rest and relaxation yet still offers a wonderful sense of family and friends gathering for a good time. The pool is an added addition that makes it feel even more luxurious. It is located in a perfect area in between Seaside and Rosemary Beach so either direction is extremely accessible and a short drive. The beach is beautiful white sand with turquoise water and makes you feel like you’re on a private island. I can’t imagine a more beautiful home or area that I wouldprefer to spend my vacation time in .I hope to return again soon for maximum relaxation surrounded by beauty and comfort!.

We've been to 30A a number of times and this beach house far exceeded our expectations. It is brand new and absolutely breathtaking! The kitchen is well-stocked and a gourmet chef's dream. The bedrooms are spacious, and all the beds were comfortable with crisp white linens and there were soft white towels in all the high-end bathrooms. We especially enjoyed the captains tower on the top of the home with its gorgeous views. We had our morning coffee here several times as well as cocktails in the evening at sunset. The house also includes a private pool, carriage house, 6-person golf cart and plenty of bikes. The neighborhood is charming, and we loved that it is gated as well as has a close by community pool. The house is a short walk to one of the most gorgeous beaches on 30A. It's close to Rosemary, Alys and Seaside with lots of nearby shopping and restaurants. We ate nearby at the Old Florida Fish House and would highly recommend. I hesitated to write this review as we are planning on coming back this summer and don't want it to be booked, but it's difficult not to brag when you find such a hidden gem!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our bride-to-be! The house was even more beautiful than the photos—spacious, spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The decor was stylish and beachy, and we loved catching sunset up in the captain's tower.The location was ideal—such a quick walk to the beach, and close to great restaurants, bars, and shops, were huge fans of Old Florida Beach House. We barely used our cars the whole weekend! There was plenty of room for our whole group to sleep comfortably.Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful from start to finish, even leaving a welcome note and a small surprise for the bride, which was such a sweet touch.If you're planning a girls' getaway or bachelorette weekend, don’t hesitate—this place is a total gem. We made the best memories and can't wait to come back!

The home itself is breathtaking and within easy walking distance to a private beach boardwalk. We loved being on a more secluded part of the beach but within biking distance to Seaside and Rosemary. While the neighborhood pool had ample seating and amenities, we highly appreciated the dipping pool attached to the house. Our recent stay at this brand-new beach house in WaterSound West exceeded all expectations. This property truly redefines coastal luxury, particularly with its stunning carriage house and tower that offer breathtaking panoramic views of both sunrise and sunset. Located within the gated WaterSound West community on 30A, the home's amenities, including a zero-entry pool and access to a spectacular boardwalk leading through protected dunes to a pristine, uncrowded private beach, were exceptional.The coastal-chic design of the main house, featuring five master suites and numerous comfortable areas for relaxation, was a highlight. Its convenient location between Seaside and Rosemary Beach allowed for effortless exploration using the provided 6-seat golf cart, making trips to Seaside’s dining options, WaterColor’s Publix, and Grayton Beach’s restaurants easily accessible. The proximity to local favorites like the Old Florida Fish House for live music was also appreciated.The private beach access via the serene boardwalk, which offers lovely views of coastal dune lakes, provided a tranquil experience. Ideal for families seeking a blend of seclusion and convenience, this rental represents a perfect 30A getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.
