We loved this place! It was perfect having a private elevator which was easy access to the pool and the beach. It didn't take us 1 minute to get to the pool and less than 5 carrying our stuff and a baby to the beach. It was clean, comfortable and fun!

We loved this unit. All of the furniture and dcor were great, very cozy. The condo and amenities are also great. We enjoyed the pool, playground, beach, etc. We also loved having the elevator directly to our room - made everything very easy and private. We would definitely stay in this unit again!

Had a very enjoyable stay at this condo. Property grounds were wonderful, convenient location, beautiful views and loved the private elevator. We initially had a few issues but everything was cleared up except for master bedroom curtain needing repair as it was stripped off it's roller and one section did not cover the window. Supposed to have come back to fix it but wasn't done during our week stay. Other than that it was a great place to stay and we would recommend it.

This was our family's 3rd vacation at Silver Shells and we had multiple units rented. We have stayed in St Maarten twice and we love the beach, pool, and location of this beautiful resort. The Emerald Coast is the perfect beach for families of all ages. We spent our days at the beautiful, clean, and safe beach. The beach service makes it easy to have a group of chairs. We spent evenings and nights at the pool. We never needed to "reserve" chairs.

Our big excursion during the week was a pontoon rental to Crab Island. We drive the boat ourselves and act responsibly on the water. We find it safe and fun for our family ages 2 to 65.

We visited many local restaurants for dinner and took the small ones on the pirate cruise. We closed our evenings by testing the local ice cream parlors and were not disappointed.

If I were to comment on one negative of this unit, it is that the bed in the master bedroom is way too soft and should probably be replaced.

Destin and in particular Silver Shells is awesome! See you next year.

Overall a great vacation experience! We have stayed at this resort three times now and love the location and amenities! This was our first time staying in this particular condo. The unit was as advertised in terms of furnishings, appliances, sleeping accommodations, and access. There were a few general maintenance and upkeep items that should have been addressed before our arrival but nothing that kept us from enjoying our stay overall. We shared those items at checkout to help improve the experience for future visitors. We will be back again next year!

The rental was clean, well equipped, and a perfect location. The accommodations were beautifully updated. The resort property had everything you needed and we already want to go back! There was an issue with the AC but the property management was extremely responsive and addressed the issue.

We had trouble finding correct elevator that took us to our condo to enter access code on door. Had to call Beyond Blue and gave her talk us through. We arrived about 30 minutes early, they will not allow you to enter until 4:00, not a minute early. After finally getting in condo, we were pleasantly pleased. Condo decorating was beautiful, views from condo were amazing. Deck furniture very inviting and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and again.

Great location! Silver Shells is in great proximity to everything. The St. Maarten building is wonderful and the condo itself at 702 is the perfect height to see the ocean and the sunrise every morning. East to get to beach and pool and sand bar.
We did have a problem with our umbrella/chair set up. It was supposed to be included each day and the rental hut said that since we didn’t have a “blue card” they had us pay $65 each day which really added up during our stay.
The kitchen was well equipped but I did not see a crock pot which would have come in handy for one of the meals we had planned.
Love that each bedroom had it’s own bath area and the proximity for the trash chute was very convenient. Also, loved the semi private elevator that took us straight to our condo!
A side note: I think the bed linens, comforters and sleeping pillows could be refreshed and the kitchen drawers were cleaned out and I would have given this a higher rating. I’d definitely stay again, if they could solve the beach set up miscommunication.

We loved everything about this condo. The pool was huge, and the beach is just steps away from the property. Tons of restaurants and shops close by or within walking distance. We would definitely stay there over and over again.

Everything was soooo nice. We had the best time in this condo, with wonderful views and such easy access to the pool and beach. Will do it again - no doubt! Would definitely recommend to friends and family! First-class stay!!

Overall our stay and accommodations were good. The condo was as advertised, and provided enough space for the 5 adults and 3 children. The beach view was stunning.

Our internet password did not work, which caused a problem for our daughter who had some work commitments to complete. She had to scramble to get someone else to assist. It also would have been nice to know in advance that we couldn’t use our cabanas or umbrellas on the beach. This was VERY inconvenient for our young children.

We loved our rental. Very nice decor. Beds were comfortable. The patio had a great view of beach and pool. We would definitely go back again!

Immaculately clean, comfortable beds and soft linens, well stocked kitchen. Right across from Walmart, close to restaurants. Toaster oven didn’t work and laundry closet door was off the track when we arrived. Beautiful view, loved the elevator straight to our unit, loved the assigned covered parking spot. Fitness facility was under repair but they provided free access to a fabulous gym less than a mile away. Basketball court was closed which broke my son’s heart. This unit was great!

Great condo! Only thing was the washer and drawer in 3rd bedroom and exit Backdoor in 3rd bedroom. Very well stocked. Had a problem with kitchen sink and they were out there within a hour to fix. Great people to work with.
