This house was perfect for our family trip. They each had their own ensuite bedroom and my only grandson and his mom and dad were able to stay in the apartment over the garage to avoid the family noise during nap time. The inside of house was renovated very nicely. The outside needed a little tlc especially on the upper and lower deck. Some of the appliances were not working and we did find a couple of friendly cockroaches ... but overall we all agreed it was a nice place to stay. Thank you!

Annual "girlfriend beach therapy" for a group of high school friends from Indiana now living all over the US. We have rented many houses on the beach in Destin (over 25 years), but this is the best. Next year we will all be 80 and we will be back!!! God willing!!!

This rental was fantastic. Everyone loved the house and the location. It was right on the beach. You could see the dolphins early morning come in so close they would swim around you. We could open our windows and hear the ocean at night (I loved this!). Whole Foods was .7 miles away, definitely within walking distance so we had healthy food choices.
The place was extremely clean and well maintained.
The pool temp was heated to 88 degrees ( we paid to have it heated).
The carriage house was very nice. Not as updated as the main house, however the king bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and nice (just not as modern). It’s totally separate from the house, it’s over the garage. So it’s very quiet and private.
Whenever we had a minor issue, it was resolved the same day.
I typically like to try different places to stay, however this place will be hard to beat!

For 28 years, our girls group of high school friends (class of 1963) have vacationed together in Destin, same week every year. We have between 8 & 12 of us from all over the states gathering each year. We have stayed in many homes on Crystal Beach, Miramar Beach but we like this one best. We'll be back next year, already booked it!!!

We had a fabulous stay! The views from almost every window - especially upstairs - were incredible! I was pleased to discover there are privacy shades on the windows in the master bathroom around the tub area (which were not visible in online pics). The pool was actually larger in person than we expected from the pictures online. Our entire family really enjoyed being able to use it when the ocean was too rough or we were ready for some down time. Much of the day, at least a portion of the pool is shaded & that was quite nice. The house is so beautiful, tastefully and thoughtfully designed & decorated. The linens and furnishings anre all very high quality and luxurious. The chairs & umbrella set up on the beach was so nice to have access to each day during our stay. The guys set them up each morning at 8 am & took them down each day between 4-5 pm. The chairs were all labeled that they were reserved for our house. We were pleasantly surprised to discover lots of beach/sand toys, floats, etc in the storage space under the deck - and made good use of them. We didn’t use the guest house space, but it is just as beautiful and well appointed as the main home. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed (and then some). The proximity of the home to some of our favorite Destin shopping and dining was really nice as well. We have already booked a second stay at this home for next season (this is literally the first place we’ve ever wanted to stay in a 2nd time in Destin). Highly recommend! *We found the outdoor hose & shower on the stairs from the deck to the beach to be in working order and completely satisfactory for our needs. Additionally, we found the pots & pans in the kitchen to be of nice quality, as were all of the kitchen utensils & appliances.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The entrance is very welcoming. All the remodel work was done so beautifully. We loved all the bathroom designs. The floorplan worked perfect for our family and friends. We also love this location on Crystal beach. The walk to sushi and coffee is very close and so is shopping.

We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving trip at Star of the Sea. Although all of the renovations were not complete, the ones that were completed were beautiful and well appointed. We can't wait to see the rest of the renovations. The staff was extremely helpful with any issues we had, and the maintenance guy was johnny on the spot. We were disappointed he could not lite the fireplace in the master as the weather was cooler and called for heat in the house. We love a fire! The heated pool was a perfect size for the kids and was a welcome addition to coming up from a cool wind on the beach. Kitchen was well appointed and we found everythinng we needed for a successful Thanksgiving day.

Location, beach access, and the home itself was great with just a few things but one issue was a real problem. One of the bedroom closets did not have a rod to hang clothes, the master bedroom door was missing it’s blind which eliminated privacy, but the biggest issue was that the bunk bed room has no separate access . The only access is via the master bedroom and through the bathroom. Essentiall what the owners did is convert the master bedroom closet. This needs to be spelled out to future clients. But otherwise was very happy with our stay.

Beyond Blue was wonderful to work with. Answered questions quickly and everything was organized well. The home had recently been partially renovated. What was done was stunning and we are sure the final renovations will be spectacular also. Only real issues were the bunk bed room is accessed through the master bathroom/bedroom and the other upstairs bedroom had only a small bathroom that was not connected to the bedroom itself. Gorgeous views, beautiful beach with very helpful attendees and clean private pool. Also access to grocery was close too. It was a wonderful week and family memories were made! Thank you.

The home was perfectly located. Being directly on the beach was perfect form our family. Most of the home has been renovated and is beautiful. There were some areas that were not the best workmanship but did not take away from the experience. Plentiful refrigerator space and plenty of ice was very helpful. Overall great experience.

We had 16 people in this house and it never felt crowded! Perfect place for a family vacation. We had one small issue and beyond blue handled it immediately. Great location, short walk from the private pool to the beach. I would suggest that if plan on cooking for a large group to bring your own larger pots which we did. Definitely a prime home and location.

We chose this property for its short walk to the beach, reasonably-sized pool, large covered patio and grill, and all the space our extended family needed. The online description was completely accurate. The house was cleaned and ready on our arrival, and management was responsive to requests we had for minor maintenance issues. What we loved: the ocean views from the kitchen and living room, the ice machine for filling our cooler, 2 refrigerators and dishwashers, comfortable king-sized mattresses, renovations that separate the bunk room from the master suite, safe neighborhood, 2 minute-walk from Camille’s for lattes. One suggestion is to add normal-sized coffee mugs to the kitchen supplies.

Only problem was the continued problems with internet connections in the carriage house, even after Jackie worked so hard. We didn't want to bother her again. Chair company did not deliver chairs till the second day and didn't deliver on the next to last day.

Plenty of room for everyone and had everything we needed. We were there in January so didn't get to enjoy the beach and pool very much but would love to come back in the summer. Very convenient for dining and any other necessities. Boshamp's is a must on every trip. Definitely plan on a return trip.

"Star of the Sea" is the ultimate beachfront getaway vacation home. Luxurious as well as stunning, it is aptly appointed with the best amenities available. 3 complimentary beach setups, beach-side Private Pool, 6 Seat Golf Cart, and large ooceanfront balconies are only some of the incredible perks of this home. Tour Scenic 98 in our 6 seat golf cart. Book now and lock in your dates at this popular gem on the Emerald Coast! The main home has 5 large bedrooms, each with king beds, three of the king bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The 5th bedroom is a fantastic bunk room (with two sets of twin over queen bunk beds with two full size trundle beds that sleeps 10) with an en-ensuite bathroom and an additional double sink vanity - the perfect hangout for teenagers, kids alike and fun loving adults. The kitchen has a professional 48 inch gas range, two sinks, 2 dishwashers, and additional electric oven. Additionally, we have a high chair, utensils, cups and plates for children and a pack n' play for your convenience. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer, a second large refrigerator and a freestanding icemaker. There is a propane grill on the deck. The large living area on the first floor has expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico and a 75" Smart TV. The second floor has an additional living area with a gas fireplace, a regulation size Foosball table, a large smart TV, all overlooking the beautiful beach. Spacious outside living space, decks running the full width of the back of the home on both the first and second floors, not to mention your own beach! Plenty of room to find your private spot or a special place to hang with your friends. Simply ask for the beach setup for "Star of the Sea", and our friendly beach attendants will be happy to guide you to your complimentary seaside lounge chairs. This beach service is available from Spring to end of Fall. The separate carriage house is quite spacious. It has a large living area, a full size kitchen, dining area, bathroom, master suite with a King bed and an extra large closet. There are two roll away beds in the closet to sleep additional people in this cool beach bungalow. Views of the Gulf are ever present from the main living area and deck of the carriage house as well. The carriage house is located above the garage. Note: $55 per day to have the pool heated. A home is under construction next door. Golf Cart Policy: Please note that a $500 refundable security deposit, copy of drivers licenses, and proof of insurance must be received per cart prior to your arrival. Starter Pack: We provide our guests with Gilchrist & Soames hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponge, coffee packs and laundry detergent pods. Guests are responsible for supplying their own amenities once our initial pack is depleted. Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of stay will receive 100% refund. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% a refund. For your protection, we encourage you to procure Traveler’s Insurance. Guests are required to electronically sign the rental agreement within TWO days of booking, otherwise the reservation is subject to cancellation. Our Clean Initiative: Sheets, towels and blankets are professionally laundered between each reservation using SANIX by UNX which is an EPA registered product that disinfects, cleans and deodorizes. Our laundry service follows a cross contamination prevention strategy in accordance with CDC guidelines. In addition to our standard high-level clean between each reservation, we utilize Clorox wipes on all hard surfaces and use Lysol Disinfectant spray for fabric surfaces. Annual "girlfriend beach therapy" for a group of high school friends from Indiana now living all over the US. We have rented many houses on the beach in Destin (over 25 years), but this is the best. Next year we will all be 80 and we will be back!!! God willing!!!

This house was perfect for our family trip. They each had their own ensuite bedroom and my only grandson and his mom and dad were able to stay in the apartment over the garage to avoid the family noise during nap time. The inside of house was renovated very nicely. The outside needed a little tlc especially on the upper and lower deck. Some of the appliances were not working and we did find a couple of friendly cockroaches ... but overall we all agreed it was a nice place to stay. Thank you!

Location location location, could not have a better location and facilities! Beyond Blue was seamless. Had to minor issues with a rusted door knob and an operator error with the golf chart with Beyond Blue responding immediately and resolving the issue.

For 28 years, our girls group of high school friends (class of 1963) have vacationed together in Destin, same week every year. We have between 8 & 12 of us from all over the states gathering each year. We have stayed in many homes on Crystal Beach, Miramar Beach but we like this one best. We'll be back next year, already booked it!!!

We had a fabulous stay! The views from almost every window - especially upstairs - were incredible! I was pleased to discover there are privacy shades on the windows in the master bathroom around the tub area (which were not visible in online pics). The pool was actually larger in person than we expected from the pictures online. Our entire family really enjoyed being able to use it when the ocean was too rough or we were ready for some down time. Much of the day, at least a portion of the pool is shaded & that was quite nice. The house is so beautiful, tastefully and thoughtfully designed & decorated. The linens and furnishings anre all very high quality and luxurious. The chairs & umbrella set up on the beach was so nice to have access to each day during our stay. The guys set them up each morning at 8 am & took them down each day between 4-5 pm. The chairs were all labeled that they were reserved for our house. We were pleasantly surprised to discover lots of beach/sand toys, floats, etc in the storage space under the deck - and made good use of them. We didn’t use the guest house space, but it is just as beautiful and well appointed as the main home. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed (and then some). The proximity of the home to some of our favorite Destin shopping and dining was really nice as well. We have already booked a second stay at this home for next season (this is literally the first place we’ve ever wanted to stay in a 2nd time in Destin). Highly recommend! *We found the outdoor hose & shower on the stairs from the deck to the beach to be in working order and completely satisfactory for our needs. Additionally, we found the pots & pans in the kitchen to be of nice quality, as were all of the kitchen utensils & appliances.

This rental was fantastic. Everyone loved the house and the location. It was right on the beach. You could see the dolphins early morning come in so close they would swim around you. We could open our windows and hear the ocean at night (I loved this!). Whole Foods was .7 miles away, definitely within walking distance so we had healthy food choices.
The place was extremely clean and well maintained.
The pool temp was heated to 88 degrees ( we paid to have it heated).
The carriage house was very nice. Not as updated as the main house, however the king bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and nice (just not as modern). It’s totally separate from the house, it’s over the garage. So it’s very quiet and private.
Whenever we had a minor issue, it was resolved the same day.
I typically like to try different places to stay, however this place will be hard to beat!

Plenty of room for everyone and had everything we needed. We were there in January so didn't get to enjoy the beach and pool very much but would love to come back in the summer. Very convenient for dining and any other necessities. Boshamp's is a must on every trip. Definitely plan on a return trip.

We had 16 people in this house and it never felt crowded! Perfect place for a family vacation. We had one small issue and beyond blue handled it immediately. Great location, short walk from the private pool to the beach. I would suggest that if plan on cooking for a large group to bring your own larger pots which we did. Definitely a prime home and location.

We chose this property for its short walk to the beach, reasonably-sized pool, large covered patio and grill, and all the space our extended family needed. The online description was completely accurate. The house was cleaned and ready on our arrival, and management was responsive to requests we had for minor maintenance issues. What we loved: the ocean views from the kitchen and living room, the ice machine for filling our cooler, 2 refrigerators and dishwashers, comfortable king-sized mattresses, renovations that separate the bunk room from the master suite, safe neighborhood, 2 minute-walk from Camille’s for lattes. One suggestion is to add normal-sized coffee mugs to the kitchen supplies.

We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving trip at Star of the Sea. Although all of the renovations were not complete, the ones that were completed were beautiful and well appointed. We can't wait to see the rest of the renovations. The staff was extremely helpful with any issues we had, and the maintenance guy was johnny on the spot. We were disappointed he could not lite the fireplace in the master as the weather was cooler and called for heat in the house. We love a fire! The heated pool was a perfect size for the kids and was a welcome addition to coming up from a cool wind on the beach. Kitchen was well appointed and we found everythinng we needed for a successful Thanksgiving day.

Beyond Blue was wonderful to work with. Answered questions quickly and everything was organized well. The home had recently been partially renovated. What was done was stunning and we are sure the final renovations will be spectacular also. Only real issues were the bunk bed room is accessed through the master bathroom/bedroom and the other upstairs bedroom had only a small bathroom that was not connected to the bedroom itself. Gorgeous views, beautiful beach with very helpful attendees and clean private pool. Also access to grocery was close too. It was a wonderful week and family memories were made! Thank you.

Location, beach access, and the home itself was great with just a few things but one issue was a real problem. One of the bedroom closets did not have a rod to hang clothes, the master bedroom door was missing it’s blind which eliminated privacy, but the biggest issue was that the bunk bed room has no separate access . The only access is via the master bedroom and through the bathroom. Essentiall what the owners did is convert the master bedroom closet. This needs to be spelled out to future clients. But otherwise was very happy with our stay.

The home was perfectly located. Being directly on the beach was perfect form our family. Most of the home has been renovated and is beautiful. Great time, great weather. Space was great for our family and the short walk right out the door to the beach was perfect. Parking was stressful, we did have an issue with the ice maker, tech came quickly, wasn't able to fix but offered to bring us ice for our stay and was super nice. Convenient to many places.

Our vacation this year was scheduled in January before COVID-19 became known. We thought of cancelling but the cancellation policy was not flexible. I’m glad we risked the virus and had a great week at the beach. The condo sleeps a large group easily in comfortable beds. There are TV’s in every room and balconies in each of the three floors that have an unrestricted view of the shoreline. We cooked almost every meal in the condo and had everything we needed. Pompano Joe’s is a short walk for carry out. The condo has umbrellas, a canopy tent, an outdoor shower and many beach toys. Negatives: The contract process is awkward. Your credit card is charged before you can see the details and the print is too small to read. It is also misleading because it is generic. For example, it mentions pool keys but there is no pool. The three floors with stairs are hard on anyone with poor mobility or bad knees The parking for two cars is tight. At times we had to crawl over seats from the back to get in. Construction vehicles next door often blocked our parking area but the workers were nice. The beaches are crowded but Sanddollar has more room than most. You are paying for the sand at your door step and the excellent view!

The unit was in a great location! Management was extremely nice & helpful. We had a few minor issues & they were prompt to fit them. It could have been a bit cleaner but not bad enough we wouldn’t stay again. The stairs were brutal but we knew they would be- just know if you have older people it could be a problem. Parking is tight but manageable more manageable if you have nice neighbors. The biggest complaint - the beach is private & you have rights to the space directly in front of your unit, but you have to fight for your spot everyday. We had to get up at the crack of dawn to get our spot. We even rented an umbrella & chair setup to save our spot but people didn’t care or respect your space. We made it work but it would be nice if the beach area was policed- we paid for private beach & it’d be nice not to have been crowded by the units across the street. We will probably stay again & I recommend this unit.

We had an amazing week! This beach home is beautiful and we could not ask for a better set up with children. The decks that overlook the ocean are awesome and the direct access to the beach is a gamechanger! The first two days there, there were double red flags. We were not sure what that meant and had to do a bit of research! It was not a big deal, just a heads up for the midwestern folks to know what the flag colors mean! The air conditioner did not work after the 2nd day, but the weather was cool enough it did matter for us.

Fabulous time. Condo right on the water. With children, it was great! We had enough room for the 9 of us. Kitchen had everything we needed. Window air conditioner downstairs was old and didn’t cool well. There was a fan but unit needs replacing. Carpet in upstairs bedrooms needed cleaning. View and area were awesome! Enjoy our complimentary beach set-up with 2 chairs and an umbrella! Moomba is Australian for "Let's get together and have fun". Come right in and feel instantly relaxed. You will first be greeted by the first-floor great room/game room, featuring comfy seating, a sofa sleeper, a huge Smart TV, and a full over full bunk bed with a twin trundle for a fabulous teen hangout! Next to the game room directly on the Gulf of Mexico, is a large private guest bedroom with a new king bed, Smart TV, a large oceanfront balcony and an en-suite bathroom. All the living space on the second floor is Gulf front, views of the ocean from the living area, dining area, and the kitchen. Well-lit with wall-to-wall windows overlooking the emerald waters and sugar white sand, this space is great for relaxing and listening to the waves break! On this floor, there is another guest bedroom, featuring a king size bed, a Smart TV and an en-suite bathroom. This wonderful townhome is on the picturesque Scenic 98 in Miramar Beach. With fabulous restaurants, and activities galore. We also provide a starter pack which includes: hand and body soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponge, coffee packs and laundry detergent. Once the starter pack runs out the guest is responsible to replenish their stock. Our Clean Initiative: Sheets, towels and blankets are professionally laundered between each reservation using SANIX by UNX which is an EPA registered product that disinfects, cleans and deodorizes. This multi-purpose neutral PH, germicidal detergent and deodorant is effective on a wide variety of pathogens. This property is right on the beach! Good for family as three distinct levels for sleeping. Furnishings are nice and bathrooms and appliances are new and top tier. Only problem was trash outside front door that gave a bad first impression. Wes corrected right away by maintenance but should have been resolved before arrival. Also, parking is difficult as only two narrow spaces.

Apt was nice and clean. AC throughout the house works with little noise. Perfect location. Little tight parking for more than 2 cars. Great customer services. Will come back soon. Bars outside patio from dining room turns loose, need attention with little kids.

Great time, great weather. Space was great for our family and the short walk right out the door to the beach was perfect. Parking was stressful, we did have an issue with the ice maker, tech came quickly, wasn't able to fix but offered to bring us ice for our stay and was super nice. Convenient to many places.

We absolutely LOVED this stay! The home was just perfect. We loved every second there and WISHED we could have stayed longer. We felt so at home and peace. The stairs are a little steep and my parents (60 and 62) did struggle with that, but the view and the access to the beach were absolutely worth it. The house is beautifully furnished and had everything we needed as far as pots and pans. The location of the home is close to a restaurant and also ice cream! We never really left unless it was to the grocery store. It was fantastic and the views, breathtaking every single day/night. Lastly, I have to mention how easy it was to reserve and how friendly every person was to me every time I called (which was often because I was skeptical). We’re from Texas and our family is big on hospitality, we felt at home and taken care of. Checking in and out was a breeze! Thank you again Beyond Blue Vacations!

Beautiful condo on the beach! Very accurate description of condo by renters. Steps from beach with umbrella and chairs on beach each morning. Very close to several restaurants and local shops. Definitely will stay again. Parking is for two cars only but we found parking within walking distance. Overall 10/10.

The house is right on a private beach, so didn't have to deal with crowds. In addition, when we arrived there wasn't a BBQ and the property management were very quick to fix the problem. Would stay again.

The unit was in a great location! Management was extremely nice & helpful. We had a few minor issues & they were prompt to fit them. It could have been a bit cleaner but not bad enough we wouldn’t stay again. The stairs were brutal but we knew they would be- just know if you have older people it could be a problem. Parking is tight but manageable more manageable if you have nice neighbors. The biggest complaint - the beach is private & you have rights to the space directly in front of your unit, but you have to fight for your spot everyday. We had to get up at the crack of dawn to get our spot. We even rented an umbrella & chair setup to save our spot but people didn’t care or respect your space. We made it work but it would be nice if the beach area was policed- we paid for private beach & it’d be nice not to have been crowded by the units across the street. We will probably stay again & I recommend this unit.

We had an amazing week! This beach home is beautiful and we could not ask for a better set up with children. The decks that overlook the ocean are awesome and the direct access to the beach is a gamechanger! The first two days there, there were double red flags. We were not sure what that meant and had to do a bit of research! It was not a big deal, just a heads up for the midwestern folks to know what the flag colors mean! The air conditioner did not work after the 2nd day, but the weather was cool enough it did matter for us.

Our vacation this year was scheduled in January before COVID-19 became known. We thought of cancelling but the cancellation policy was not flexible. I’m glad we risked the virus and had a great week at the beach. The condo sleeps a large group easily in comfortable beds. There are TV’s in every room and balconies in each of the three floors that have an unrestricted view of the shoreline. We cooked almost every meal in the condo and had everything we needed. Pompano Joe’s is a short walk for carry out. The condo has umbrellas, a canopy tent, an outdoor shower and many beach toys. Negatives: The contract process is awkward. Your credit card is charged before you can see the details and the print is too small to read. It is also misleading because it is generic. For example, it mentions pool keys but there is no pool. The three floors with stairs are hard on anyone with poor mobility or bad knees The parking for two cars is tight. At times we had to crawl over seats from the back to get in. Construction vehicles next door often blocked our parking area but the workers were nice. The beaches are crowded but Sanddollar has more room than most. You are paying for the sand at your door step and the excellent view!

In June 2025, we stayed at My Beach Alibi through Beyond Blue Vacations. The home has an excellent design from the open family and dining room to the kitchen. The 4 bedrooms worked perfectly for my wife and me, our daughter’s family of 4, and our son’s family of 6. We especially loved the outdoor area which included a covered deck, sunbathing space, and an awesome pool with a water feature. The grandkids and others really enjoyed the pool time as some are not ocean people in terms of getting in the Gulf.

The only negative comment is we had an AC issue for the entire stay, which comprised of an irritating intermittent squeal from the interior AC unit loud enough to disrupt the sleeping at night and the 2nd floor was reaching 75-76 degrees. However, over a few days I worked with Beyond Blue and they provided 2 portable AC units and a fan to supplement the fans we had.

I must state that conversations with 5 separate Beyond Blue people, including 2 maintenance technicians in person, were nothing less than professional. They did listen sincerely and made every effort to address our concerns and needs to make the stay a positive one.

Additionally, they did provide a partial but sizable monetary refund, which was greatly appreciated!

The bottom line is even with the AC issue it was a great family vacation. Would we stay at My Beach Alibi again? Definitely...yes! [This assumes the AC will be fixed. :)] Also, would we rent through Beyond Blue a third time? Yes!

This was our second stay here. We love the location/access to the beach. The back deck/pool area is great.The kids love to see the turtles off the back deck. It's great to have the beach setup and the beach access is easy and close. It has a large kitchen and plenty of seating in the living area. Would love to see ceiling fans added in the bedrooms, a larger/private bathroom for the main floor and outside furniture for the u/s balcony, but overall an amazing property and a little hidden gem in Destin. You can walk to the Surf Hut and there is a great Chinese place across the street. We found yummy sushi at Zen Japanese Grill. Outlet mall is just across the street if you need a little break from the sun.

We shared this house with another family for our kids' spring break. It functioned very well. There was plenty of sleeping space and the kitchen is well equipped. The master bathroom is very well appointed. We especially enjoyed the deck with ample seating and the kids loved the pool. The beach is SO close!

The map makes this property look like it’s further from the beach than it really is. This property was perfect for our Thanksgiving reunion. The weather wasn’t as awesome as we had hoped (obviously Mother Nature’s agenda) but the pool at the house made for a great alternative for the kids.

We love staying at this property. The location is absolutely the most convenient. It's also so safe in this gated community. Security is wonderful! We did however encounter a group of rowdy spring breakers right next door. Thankfully they took care of the issue and we only had to deal with these partiers for 2 nights. If I could make any recommendations, I would say that the maintenance free decking under the pergola (as you are heading to the ocean) had screws popping out all over. My daughter did step on one. Other than that, we will come again!

We had an awesome stay. The house was beautiful and made us feel at home. Nino was always helpful and happy to answer all my questions. The walk to the beach is very short and the beach setup made it even better. The deck and pool area are great for lazy afternoons after a day at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. Previous reviews said the house would not stay cool, but we had no issues keeping it comfy even with the 90deg outside temps. Amazing home & great location, very quiet neighborhood. We would stay here again and again.

We couldn't have been happier with this rental. From the home itself, the location to the beach, the beautiful back deck with pool and a fantastic management company in Beyond Blue that made this trip so incredibly memorable for our family. The pictures on the website make the home look like something out of magazine and when you step inside the home you realize that it's even better in person. The home is no more than 50 steps to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook from home. The house maximized every inch of space and it's the first property in the last 7 years we've stayed in that we would absolutely look to re-book. This home is simply a gem!! Thank you!!!

This rental was beautiful and the location was perfect. The private beach was amazing and even closer than we expected. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that it could have been stocked better. There were no extra trash bags, toilet paper or paper towels. Also, beach/pool towels would have been nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend.

Our family of 10 had a fabulous time. The house was beautiful. The small resort community was quite peaceful. The kids enjoyed watching the turtles in the pond. We had everything we needed to have some great relaxing family time The proximity to the beach was great for the 4 little ones to walk. The private beach of course beautiful and was not crowded. If vacationing in Destin I would absolutely stay here again.
My only complaint was a coffee maker that was quite old messy and temperamental.

The house, location, pool and access to the beach was awesome! the only drawback was that the house was very dirty,( housekeeping was horrible for the required fee. looked like they just made the beds) Maintenance came out to fix the broken item very quickly upon arrival and the pool service came out right away to clean the pool.
Disappointed we had to pay the cleaning fee as the place was not clean upon arrival and counters had to be cleaned for use.
Overall, loved the home and our time there.

We visited from Aug 20 to 24. There were 20 people in our group and we all fit comfortably in the house. Everything looked just as it did in the pictures. There were sand toys in the garage as well as beach chairs so you didn't have to bother with rentals. There is also an extra fridge in the garage. My only complaint was that the knives were dull and there was some sand in our sheets when we got there. Other than that, I'd recommend this place to anyone with a large or small group.

Our stay was amazing. We were 4 families and it was the perfect fit for us. We had stayed in this neighborhood before and we loved the private beach so you don't have to deal with the crowd. That is why we came back! Lots of beach toys, chairs and even an umbrella in the garage, so you don't need to bring any of that stuff! Blankets on the bed are thin so if you get cold at night I recommend you bring a blanket. Other than that it was PERFECT!

"My Beach Alibi" is a charming nautical lakeside waterfront home in the Shipwatch community with a large private pool and quick walk to private beach access. Perfect for large families!
Welcome to "My Beach Alibi" the perfect Miramar Beach and lake front vacation home with a private pool and quick access to the private community beach. Every room has been professionally decorated to flow and work together in harmony. The stunning kitchen features granite counters, refreshed open face shelving and brand new appliances. Cook extravagant meals on the professional gas range in this state of the art kitchen, and dine on the extra long custom dining room table. The dinner table will easily seat 10, with 5 additional kitchen bar area seats. You will find a beautifully updated full bathroom by the kitchen entrance which serves to the first floor. The first floor also features a generous living room overlooking the lake, with abundant seating and a 65 inch smart TV over the gas fire place. Walk out of the double doors straight onto the back deck overlooking the lake and pool. It is the perfect place to grill on the gas BBQ and dine alfresco. The heated pool can be enjoyed year around. We also have a large fully ship lapped first floor bedroom with a king sized bed and built in bunks twin bunks, all outfitted in fine linens. The various custom built bunk beds throughout the home have great features, such as individual lights and outlets for phones and computers. Each bedroom also features plenty of closet space and flat Screen TV's. On the second floor, at the top of the stairs, you will find the laundry center with an extra large washer and dryer, as well as three additional bedrooms. The master suite is simply awe inspiring with its fabulous views, chic design, king Temperpedic mattress and custom luxury linens. You will also find seating, a large smart TV and a private bathroom suite attached to the master. The luxurious Thassos and Carrara marble bathroom has sprawling double vanities, separate extra large walk in shower and a stand alone tub for every creature comfort. Tucked away in a private area by the master closet, is a hidden bunk niche for the kids! The master has a balcony overlooking the pool and large pond. Just down the hall is a bedroom with two queen beds, a walk in closet, private bathroom, custom linens and a large smart TV! The final show stopper is a large custom built bunk room that sleeps 10 people, two sets of full over full bunk beds with twin trundles, amazing carpentry! Each bunk has a charging nook and a sconce light for late night reading and telling stories! A wonderful space for children or adults, there is plenty of room for all! There is also a large smart TV for those nights when you just can't fall asleep! The bathroom servicing this bunk room is across the hall. Peek views of the Gulf of Mexico from top floor. Heat the pool for $55/day! 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas are set up on the beach. Just ask the attendant for My Beach Alibi set up!! Only available March 1 - October 31. Starter Pack: We provide our guests with Gilchrist & Soames hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponge, coffee packs and laundry detergent pods. Guests are responsible for supplying their own amenities once our initial pack is depleted. Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of stay will receive 100% refund. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% a refund. For your protection, we encourage you to procure Traveler’s Insurance. Guests are required to electronically sign the rental agreement within TWO days of booking, otherwise the reservation is subject to cancellation.

In June 2025, we stayed at My Beach Alibi through Beyond Blue Vacations. The home has an excellent design from the open family and dining room to the kitchen. The 4 bedrooms worked perfectly for my wife and me, our daughter’s family of 4, and our son’s family of 6. We especially loved the outdoor area which included a covered deck, sunbathing space, and an awesome pool with a water feature. The grandkids and others really enjoyed the pool time as some are not ocean people in terms of getting in the Gulf.

The only negative comment is we had an AC issue for the entire stay, which comprised of an irritating intermittent squeal from the interior AC unit loud enough to disrupt the sleeping at night and the 2nd floor was reaching 75-76 degrees. However, over a few days I worked with Beyond Blue and they provided 2 portable AC units and a fan to supplement the fans we had.

I must state that conversations with 5 separate Beyond Blue people, including 2 maintenance technicians in person, were nothing less than professional. They did listen sincerely and made every effort to address our concerns and needs to make the stay a positive one.

Additionally, they did provide a partial but sizable monetary refund, which was greatly appreciated!

The bottom line is even with the AC issue it was a great family vacation. Would we stay at My Beach Alibi again? Definitely...yes! [This assumes the AC will be fixed. :)] Also, would we rent through Beyond Blue a third time? Yes!

This was our second stay here. We love the location/access to the beach. The back deck/pool area is great.The kids love to see the turtles off the back deck. It's great to have the beach setup and the beach access is easy and close. It has a large kitchen and plenty of seating in the living area. Would love to see ceiling fans added in the bedrooms, a larger/private bathroom for the main floor and outside furniture for the u/s balcony, but overall an amazing property and a little hidden gem in Destin. You can walk to the Surf Hut and there is a great Chinese place across the street. We found yummy sushi at Zen Japanese Grill. Outlet mall is just across the street if you need a little break from the sun.

We love staying at this property. The location is absolutely the most convenient. It's also so safe in this gated community. Security is wonderful! We did however encounter a group of rowdy spring breakers right next door. Thankfully they took care of the issue and we only had to deal with these partiers for 2 nights. If I could make any recommendations, I would say that the maintenance free decking under the pergola (as you are heading to the ocean) had screws popping out all over. My daughter did step on one. Other than that, we will come again!

The map makes this property look like it’s further from the beach than it really is. This property was perfect for our Thanksgiving reunion. The weather wasn’t as awesome as we had hoped (obviously Mother Nature’s agenda) but the pool at the house made for a great alternative for the kids.

We shared this house with another family for our kids' spring break. It functioned very well. There was plenty of sleeping space and the kitchen is well equipped. The master bathroom is very well appointed. We especially enjoyed the deck with ample seating and the kids loved the pool. The beach is SO close!

Our stay was amazing. We were 4 families and it was the perfect fit for us. We had stayed in this neighborhood before and we loved the private beach so you don't have to deal with the crowd. That is why we came back! Lots of beach toys, chairs and even an umbrella in the garage, so you don't need to bring any of that stuff! Blankets on the bed are thin so if you get cold at night I recommend you bring a blanket. Other than that it was PERFECT!

We Loved our stay at my beach alibi . We had 17 in our party and had plenty of room at the house. We cooked a lot so we loved the 2 refrigerator’s and the stove.We were just steps away from the beach which made coming and going easy especially with kids.Very satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

We visited from Aug 20 to 24. There were 20 people in our group and we all fit comfortably in the house. Everything looked just as it did in the pictures. There were sand toys in the garage as well as beach chairs so you didn't have to bother with rentals. There is also an extra fridge in the garage. My only complaint was that the knives were dull and there was some sand in our sheets when we got there. Other than that, I'd recommend this place to anyone with a large or small group.

Our family of 10 had a fabulous time. The house was beautiful. The small resort community was quite peaceful. The kids enjoyed watching the turtles in the pond. We had everything we needed to have some great relaxing family time The proximity to the beach was great for the 4 little ones to walk. The private beach of course beautiful and was not crowded. If vacationing in Destin I would absolutely stay here again.
My only complaint was a coffee maker that was quite old messy and temperamental.

From the moment we arrived at this breathtaking beach house, until our departure the experience was amazing. The amenities, location and decor were first class. Literally a two minute walk to the private beach with reserved beach chairs and umbrellas waiting for your arrival. After a long day at the beach it was nice to return to the house for a swim in the private pool. Minutes from outlet shopping, delicious seafood restaurants and grocery shopping. The gated community adds that extra reassurance of privacy and security. Every detail has been taken to insure your trip to the beach is a lasting memory.

This rental is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Very clean! Location is awesome! We loved the private beach which included beach service with chairs and umbrella set up. Also close to shopping, grocery, and restaurants. We also loved walking the trail right outside of the community every morning. The staff was super sweet and helpful with booking and my COVID protocol questions. My only concern is that there isn’t an alarm on the back door leading out to the pool. I thought that all houses in Florida had to have a back door alarm if the pool wasn’t enclosed. Just something to consider if you have young kids. But truly an AMAZING experience and I hope we get to stay here again.

This rental was beautiful and the location was perfect. The private beach was amazing and even closer than we expected. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that it could have been stocked better. There were no extra trash bags, toilet paper or paper towels. Also, beach/pool towels would have been nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend.

We had an AMAZING bachelorette trip to this gorgeous house! Plenty of room for us all to lounge around. Literally right across from the beach access & had the most gorgeous beach I've ever seen. We appreciate letting us rent this place. Only issue we had was the WiFi didn't work in the house. Other than that 10000% will stay here again

We couldn't have been happier with this rental. From the home itself, the location to the beach, the beautiful back deck with pool and a fantastic management company in Beyond Blue that made this trip so incredibly memorable for our family. The pictures on the website make the home look like something out of magazine and when you step inside the home you realize that it's even better in person. The home is no more than 50 steps to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook from home. The house maximized every inch of space and it's the first property in the last 7 years we've stayed in that we would absolutely look to re-book. This home is simply a gem!! Thank you!!!

The walk to the beach is very short and the beach setup made it even better. The deck and pool area are great for lazy afternoons after a day at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. Previous reviews said the house would not stay cool, but we had no issues keeping it comfy even with the 90deg outside temps. Amazing home & great location, very quiet neighborhood. We would stay here again and again.

Great location. Beautiful home. Comfy beds. Fabulous kitchen. Needed more AC in the day but perfect at night! Great pool. So much room/seating space. All in all, we will be back and will stay here!!!

Upscale trendy beach decor, spacious gourmet kitchen and soaking pool make this home a stand-out. Only 100 steps to the beach, no streets to cross for kids and centrally located to restaurants, shops, and beach attractions. Be aware that the downstairs full bath is only accessible from the bedroom by walking across the dining/kitchen area. Also, location of bunk beds in master and guest bedroom limit privacy. Driveway parking only as the owner stores an expensive car in the garage. No boats or jet skis allowed in the community, even in extra parking area at front of complex. Despite these inconveniences (for us), our family of three generations had a Wonderful Time!

The house is beautiful and everyone is so nice. The pool on the back deck was amazing and it was just steps to the beach. It was actually closer to the beach than any condo Ive ever stayed in. I thought I would really miss the beach view but with all the house had to offer I never missed waking up and seeing the ocean! The only minus is that the beds in the bunk room were the most uncomfortable beds Ive ever slept in. Bring a blow up mattress or plan to sleep on the couch if that will be your room! Over all it was a 10/10, Id highly recommend.

My family and I stayed here and it was amazing! We loved everything about this place. The location was great, the beach was not even a minute walk. Loved that the garage already had extra beach chairs, floats, and shovels for the kids so we did not have to drag them from home. We used the grill, the pool, and loved the KITCHEN!! Everyone was comfortable and had plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable. We did not feel as if they were uncomfortable at all. The house was decorated as if Chip and Joanna Gaines decorated the place! We will definitely stay here again! Anytime we had a question, the staff was available and responded quickly. Thank you for making our trip fabulous and memorable. Worth every penny!
